    Here you will be a member of an overall team responsible for the planning, design, construction, and operation of core IBM facilities. A key to success in this role relies on the ability to work independently, while part of a team, as a part of a large matrixed organization.     Your excellent communication skills and confidence in your decision-making ability will enable you to interface with multiple entities across the IBM enterprise, as well as external consultants, construction firms and government agencies on a routine basis.

  • Possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Exhibit a background that includes at LEAST 5 years of design experience relating to large scale mechanical facility infrastructure
  • Have experience in the planning and design of mission critical facilities
  • Have a willingness to travel when necessary
  • Reside in or live near Southbury, CT, Somers, NY, Sterling Forest, NY, Poughkeepsie, NY OR Raleigh-Durham/RTP, NC.
