Corporate Financial/Accounting Controller

Advanced Electronic Solutions, Inc. is one of the largest privately held Security Integration Firms in the NY area with revenues of approximately 15Mil.  Our customer base is comprised of fortune 1000 companies that require highly sophisticated computer based Security and Fire Systems. Due to our continued growth we are looking for a high energy individual with strong leadership skills who will work with management to develop this new position. We are looking for someone who has experience in the construction industry or related fields.

The Controller would report to the Company President and essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Manage all general accounting functions, including preparation of financial reports, bank reconciliations, month end closings, budgets, strategic planning.
  
• Lead and develop accounting staff
  
• Provide Operational support: inventory control product costing
  
• Implement finance budget by anticipating requirements, trends and variances
  
• Manage the treasury, payroll, AP/AR and general accounting functions
  
• Coordinate the external financial requirements and partner with external auditors.

Job Requirements:

1. 10 - 15 years of accounting/finance experience within a construction company or related field, several of which should be in a management positions
   
2. BS/BA in Accounting (CPA not Required)
   
3. Strong management/interpersonal skills
   
4. excellent multi-tasking skills
   
5. strong communicator and team player
   
6. strong work ethic necessary
   
7. experience with Quickbooks
