About the Job
ShopRite Supermarkets is currently seeking a Full-Time Corporate Supermarket Registered Dietitian to work in Florida, NY.
This corporate/retail position would entail management of health and wellness initiatives for 26 stores. Responsibilities include associate, customer, and community-based health and wellness initiatives including but not limited to store tours, culinary demos, "Ask the Dietitian" tables, community outreach with local schools, associate education, and recipe development.
Candidates must possess knowledge of accurate science, trends, and topics of interest to customer base along with strong interpersonal, media, communication, organizational, multi-tasking and presentation skills. Competence with nutrient analysis, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is required. Applicants must be able to function independently, work without immediate supervision, generate ideas and think creatively. Schedule flexibility is essential and will depend on programs being implemented, includes some weekends and evening. Salary will be based on experience.
