Corrugated and/or Die Cut Production Facilitator

About the Job

The required function of this position is to safely manufacture a quality box at rated OEM run speeds in a clean and organized box plant with a goal of ensuring all customer expectations are met and all required procedures are followed without any exceptions. The qualified candidate for this position will lead by example and have the ability to train, coach and facilitate crew members in the proper procedures of safety, rotary die cutting, troubleshooting and quality processes. Specifically the Production Facilitator will spend 90% of their time on the production floor leading and directing crews in an effort to run equipment at rated OEM speeds and remove any obstacles in a timely manner to accomplish required production goals.

The qualified candidate for the position will have the ability to perform the following:

• Ability to enforce safety regulations, plant policies and best housekeeping practices. With the belief that all accidents are preventable.
• Able to encourage team members to sustain a high level of commitment to safety awareness plant wide.
• Build effective relationships with all departments
• Ability to alter production schedules as needed in order to meet or overcome unforeseen conditions or customer needs.
• Lead training efforts of team members relative to procedures and equipment and evaluate team member and crew performance.
• Able to track and manage plant waste and analyze and organize accumulated data.
• Prepare and submit reports as required.
• Facilitate team members in order to accomplish safety, quality, productivity and efficiency goals. (OEE)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements: College degree preferred. Five to ten years related knowledge and experience are preferred. An equivalent combination of knowledge, experience and training will be considered.
