Cosmetic Allocator

Responsibilities
  • Create new product launch allocation at National location level with accuracy.

  • Work with Market Buyer to determine new product launch forecast following market visits

  • Recommend initial quantity and allocations for seasonal items.

  • Create and Allocate orders using RDW/Excel and IPO

  • Enter and maintain dollars with divisional provided tools

  • Correctly complete item setup form in relation to IPO and forward to the Product Coordinator

  • Utilize reports to determine which time frame and VPN's to use as a model for  importing data, and for analyzing output, to create size clusters

  • Review supplier class reports to view history of comp item sales to determine forecast.

  • Communicate final allocations as well as sell thru results by location and VPN to all levels of business

     


Qualifications
  • Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment

  • Ability to learn new applications and processes

  • Strong analytical and math skills

  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills

  • Retek Merchandising Systems and Retek Data Warehouse experience preferred

  • Detail oriented and ability to maintain strong focus
