Cosmetic Allocator

Responsibilities
- Create new product launch allocation at National location level with accuracy.
- Work with Market Buyer to determine new product launch forecast following market visits
- Recommend initial quantity and allocations for seasonal items.
- Create and Allocate orders using RDW/Excel and IPO
- Enter and maintain dollars with divisional provided tools
- Correctly complete item setup form in relation to IPO and forward to the Product Coordinator
- Utilize reports to determine which time frame and VPN's to use as a model for importing data, and for analyzing output, to create size clusters
- Review supplier class reports to view history of comp item sales to determine forecast.
- Communicate final allocations as well as sell thru results by location and VPN to all levels of business
Qualifications
- Ability to respond quickly to a changing environment
- Ability to learn new applications and processes
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills
- Retek Merchandising Systems and Retek Data Warehouse experience preferred
- Detail oriented and ability to maintain strong focus
