Education Specialists have a passion for training and development. They deliver exciting and motivational technical and customer service training that ensure salon staffs are able to deliver the brand promise with each and every customer.


Responsibilities



  • Deliver all aspects of core training programs, technical workshops, customer service workshops, and salon Management training.

  • Gather training materials and prepares training center for classes.

  • Act as a role model of the brand image in appearance and behavior.

  • Evaluate participant performance during training and provides feedback to them.

  • Provide timely feedback to GMs, Managers, and Franchisees related to performance of class participants.

  • Conduct local school visits and training as approved by supervisor and assists the co-op in being proactive in the market.

  • Participate and help prepare for market training sessions and promotional events.

  • Provide support to new salons to ensure they have successful grand openings.

  • Conduct technical interviews for franchisees that are opening their first salon.

  • Monitor assigned market budgets on a monthly basis to ensure expenses are within budget; notes exceptions and potential problems and follows up as needed.

Requirements



  • Current cosmetology license.

  • At least two years of training/educating experience.

  • Salon management experience a plus.

  • Ability to effectively and consistently deliver training sessions using the Great Clips Great Clips technical and operating systems.

  • Ability to certify that a participant has learned and successfully demonstrated the material learned in training.

  • Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to manage an intensive travel schedule (50% of time) and work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, ability to stand for long periods of time to deliver training and cut hair.

  • Intermediate user of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Web.

  • Valid Drivers License along with personal vehicle.
