Robert Half Management Resources is conducting a search for a Senior Cost Accountant to work on an hourly/contract basis for our client a consumer goods distributor located close to North Hollywood. 7+ years recent experience is needed to step into this interim position and manage a staff of 3. Reporting to the Corporate Controller the Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for all inventory, supply chain, and logistics. MBA and CPA are preferred but no required. Strong technology skills including advanced Excel, Access, and a high proficiency in one or more of the following ERP packages; JD Edwards/ Oracle, SAP, Great Plains., Net Suite, MAS 500 and/or People Soft. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for year end financial, rate charges, profitability, and profit margin.
