Position Responsibilities:

• Develops, implements and manages an effective cost analysis administration system


• Plans, collects and  analyzes data to determine costs of business activities.


• Reviews  Bills of Material relating to the cost of production.


• Develops labor standards and monitor labor routings.


• Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods to determine effects on costs.


• Develops new product cost data.


• Analyzes and prepares month end reports reconciling gross margin to actual costs/standard costs.


• Analyzes and prepares reports regarding scrap cost by cost centers.


• Analyzes efficiencies and prepares reports by cost centers and work centers.


• Coordinates inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.

Position Requirements:

• Four-Year Degree in Accounting or Finance with  five years operational experience as a cost accountant working in an automated manufacturing standard cost system.


• Strong communication skills – verbal and written


• Computer literate in basic application software systems (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) required.


• Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning system, SAP preferred.


• Available to travel to other locations as required (approximately 25% travel).
