Our client in Escondido is immediately seeking a Job Cost Accountant for a temp to full-time opportunity. The Job Cost Accountant will reporting to the Accounting Manager, he/she will be responsible for cost accounting functions such as comparing actual cost-to-cost standards and preparing reports on variances. He / She will also assist in other aspects of cost finding and may provide data for purposes of estimating and budgeting. This will include providing cost data, budget preparation, update and provide weekly and monthly cost reports to Project Managers

The ideal candidate will have 3 + years accounting experience with a preference to individuals with cost accounting experience and construction experience. Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and the ability to navigate through accounting packages with ease.
