Job Description
Our client is seeking a Cost Analyst to join its organization. The Cost Analyst will establish the material costs for each project following a detailed analysis of lenders coming from the suppliers, of the marker on the preceding projects, and by establishing the "true costs". Responsibilities of the Cost Analyst include managing and carrying out the follow-up of the material costs of multiple projects, following up on the current costs in comparison with the budget and the Blue Book, following up with each site implied with the project, and evaluating the variations related to the quantities, exchange rate, and indexing. Candidate will also be responsible for communicating material cost status to management and highlighting material risk and opportunities, supporting buyers with purchase order emission, procurement processes or negotiations, and reviewing and validating the synopsis of orders before the final authorization. At the time of their emission and any subsequent version, evaluating the change proposals, validating the impact on the budget/bill of material in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, Project Manager, and Finance Controller, making recommendations. Other responsibilities include ensuring purchase orders and the terms and conditions of the contracts of the subcontracting are updated accordingly to the changes, defining the "true cost" for the systems and components or subsets, establishing the material costs for each new tender by carrying out a comparative market research and previous projects, taking part in the definition of the material list with the pre-project members as well as the engineering department, and presenting communication and justifying cost analysis. |
