Main Areas of Responsibility

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·        Cost estimating and analysis for items migrating to turnkey, (External Manufactured)

·        Developing cost models for all new products launching within a directed turnkey environment.

·        Developing and validating cost estimates.

·        Developing standard costs for all turnkey items.

·        Working with Sourcing and External Manufacturing groups to develop and validate spending and savings programs

·        Documenting results and methodology.

·        Preparing monthly cost analysis for LY vs. TY.

·        Implementing and maintaining database on Excel/Database to track financial cost data.

·        Investigating cost/margin improvement options.

 Requirements and Skills

·        BA degree in Supply Chain, Accounting or Finance.

·        3+ years financial cost analysis experience within the consumer goods industry.

·        Strong knowledge of accounting principles.

·        Excellent Microsoft Office skills a must.

·        Hyperion and or Business Objects system experience a plus.

·        Understanding and Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley – 404.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with all levels including senior management.

·        Must be proactive and able to perform requirements of position with minimal supervision.

·        Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

·        Ability to work extended hours during month, quarter, and year-end financial closings and budget planning.
