Details of this critical opening follow:
This position reports directly to the Global Compliance and Business Ethics Officer. This individual will have responsibility for executing strategic compliance projects as requested by the Global Compliance and Business Ethics Officer. This individual will also have responsibility for identifying global, regional and local regulatory compliance risks and for establishing procedures and policies to mitigate such risks.
Responsibilities
? Development and implementation of strategic projects related to global compliance and business ethics
? Develop & maintain documentation indicating issue tracking/escalation/resolution
? Liaise with technology, legal, and business units
? Facilitate team meetings and work sessions
? Prepare communications regarding global compliance and code of conduct.
? Assessing and analyzing compliance risk and development of policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
? Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
? Strong analytical skills; ability to influence change and drive results
? Excellent written/verbal skills
? Ability to interact well with senior management; strong presentation skills
? Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
? Experience in the Insurance industry and/or compliance
? Operations or underwriting background a plus
? Finance certifications, compliance certifications or background a plus
