An International Bank located in New York City is currently seeking a Credit Analyst.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: prepare independent, concise, forward looking credit applications which identify the key strengths, risk and mitigants related to a proposal and provide a recommended course of action.  Consider both internal and external factors impacting a counterparty and/or structure in reaching a recommendation.  Monitor ongoing performance of each counterparty via the annual renewal process.  Keep up-to-date with new and developing accounting issues, key industry trends and macro economic developments.  Act as point of reference for support functions and relationship teams in order to ensure customer requirements are satisfied and workflow is managed effectively.  Qualified candidates must have sound knowledge of and experience with credit analysis.  Experience with Student Loans is required.  Must be formally credit trained.  Strong quantitative and accounting skills are required.
