Position Description


Primarily responsible for interfacing with customers after the sale. Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests ¿ related to credit and AR are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This position as the authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer from a financial standpoint. This position works directly with the customer, traveling to customer sites as appropriate, to help our customers achieve credit services desired while minimizing balance sheet risk and operations expenses. Additionally, will serve as an AR representative and liaison to the internal sales teams, sales administrators and management to foster internal business partnership. Related duties may include but not be limited to senior management presentations, participation in sales / credit conferences, conducting needs assessments and collaborating on key customer inquiries and research.



Responsible for interfacing with customers prior to and/or after sale. Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial standpoint or product standpoint. Pre-sale: Analysis of customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules; influencing production and shipping schedules; recommending price changes based on company/customer relationship; recognizing new business opportunities. Post-sale: Resolving production scheduling, shipping or invoicing problems; determining validity of warranty claims and scheduling repair resources; changing production and shipping schedules; and recognizing add-on business opportunities.

Minimum Requirements


8+ years customer service /credit experience; Strong interpersonal, team work and collaborative skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven negotiation skills. Ability to assess issues and work collaboratively towards positive outcomes. Good project management skills, thorough knowledge of credit policies, practices and systems. Demonstrated leaderships / project management skills to conduct needs assessments and prioritize the needs of multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Working knowledge of computer hardware, PC Windows and Microsoft Office, Professional. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 50% travel.

Education


4-year degree or equivalent experience in customer support
