Credit Risk Analyst III (Collections/Segmentation Strategy)

As a Consumer Credit Risk Analyst III, you are a member of PNC's Credit Policy organization. This position will ideally be located in our Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Pittsburgh (Strip District). or possibly in another PNC location which will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The main focus of the Consumer Credit Risk Analyst is the oversight of collections and segmentation strategies and processes as it relates to CLC's varied consumer and small business loan portfolio. The efficient and effective management of the segmentation strategy directly results in our ability to be successful in our collections efforts. You will be asked to manage the existing collections and segmentation framework, provide insight for enhancements to that framework, and be a hands-on mentor for any complex issues within your group.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or a related field
- 7-10 years of working experience in consumer risk management
- 7-10 years of supervisory experience
- Expertise in credit portfolio management as it relates to Credit and Risk Policy
- Strong knowledge of SAS and ability to code in a mainframe and/or PC environment
- Understanding of scorecards and modeling and how it relates to segmentation and collection strategy
- A working knowledge of Strata or a related decision managing software package
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel for risk reporting purposes
