Job Title: Credit Risk Manager – Finance Business Services
Responsibilities:
Invensys is currently seeking a Credit Risk Manager within our Finance Business Services function for Invensys plc. This candidate must have risk assessment, process improvement, credit management, and financial analysis in a global corporate environment. We are looking for a leader comfortable managing virtual teams . Other responsibilities include:
- Manage the activities of a global team of Regional Risk Analysts.
- Perform analysis of customers’ financial position in order to make receivable credit limit and term recommendations.
- Interface with FBS and Divisional C2C personnel to seamlessly integrate risk assessment into operational AR processes
- Ongoing proactive monitoring of external customer financial profiles, global and industry economic indicators, and sovereign risk.
- Interaction with business leaders in communication of customer credit risk.
- Propose and assist in implementation of AR mitigation strategies as applicable.
- Integration of data from multiple ERP sources into common format for analysis.
- Consolidation of regional risk activity into common global reports and decision making.
- Presentation of summary departmental output for FBS, Divisional, and Corporate consumption.
- Review of consortium arrangements.
- Potential review and reporting of supplier risk, including interface and communication of results with Supply Chain personnel.
- Interface with corporate Treasury group for alignment on sovereign policy and utilization of secured transactions and global banking review.
- Manage liaison relationships with 3rd party credit providers in order to maintain the most cost effective utilization of services.
- Maintenance of effective controls and compliance for the global risk team
- Manage to global risk team departmental budget
- Identify and act upon process improvement opportunities.
- Support professional growth of FBS regional risk analysts.
Requirements:
- Accounting or Finance Degree
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Strong analytical ability
- Prior credit management experience with emphasis on financial statement analysis and credit limit establishment.
- Ability to interface effectively with Executive Management
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs with advanced skill in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience leading as part of a virtual team
- Experience in a global organization
- Task oriented and flexible to work non-standard hours in order to meet commitments
- Program Management experience preferred
Six Sigma certification preferred
Location: Plano, TX. Houston, TX, Carol Stream, IL, and Foxboro, MA locations will also be considered.
