Position Description:
ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance's Tree Care Services provides award-winning arborist services on a wide range of properties throughout the nation. Rather than focusing on isolated management techniques, our certified arborists approach the tree as an entire biological system ensuring that our services preserve our customer’s trees, improve safety, reduce liability and protect our client’s landscape investment.
We are currently searching for a Crew Leader – Driver who will be responsible for driving our crews to and from jobs as well as managing employees while they are en route and on the jobs.
Crew Leads are also responsible for:
• Supervising all tree care service activities of the crew – ensuring that all crew members have the required safety material, that the crews have the training and tools needed to complete the job and that the crews are operating safely at all times
• Reviewing and managing crew schedules
• Completing a pre-trip inspection report each day before dispatch for all Class A and Class B equipment
• Coordinating with branch management, customers and employees as needed
• Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed
• Safely driving crews to and from jobs, adhering to Company’s safety policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews
Position Requirements:
Experience managing a crew consisting of laborers providing landscaping or related services
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Must have valid FL Drivers license with a clean record
