The Critical Care Nurse Manager will provide programmatic and clinical management to the critical care unit and
assumes 24 hours accountability for nursing care on critical care unit. The Manager will oversee, identify and
address quality, educational and equipment needs. The Manager acts as a clinical resource, role model, educator
and change agent promoting high quality, cost effective patient care in accordance with standards, regulations
and the goals and objectives of the patient care unit. Utilizes shared leadership models to develop staff.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree required. Masters degree desired. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in
the State of Michigan. Five years prior employment experience in relevant clinical areas. Previous positions should
include successive levels of increased responsibility. Well developed communication skills, both oral and written.
Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.
