Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. is a nationally recognized for-profit, post-secondary education company providing career training in the field of allied health, and we have a full-time Curriculum Development Specialist at our corporate office in Mission, KS.




Responsibilities:


·Develops curriculum project proposals for new and revised instructional programs.


·Conducts occupational analyses and designs instructional programs using the DACUM process.


·Compiles, develops, edits, and publishes instructor guides and related instructional materials.


·Ensure specific programs of study have at least the “course in the box" materials.


·Coordinate the development and submission of program modifications and new program applications to state and accrediting agencies.


·Maintain a curriculum resource center at the corporate office for specific programs.


·Develop and maintain a library of In-Service training programs for use by the schools.


·Work with the Corporate Director of Compliance and Accreditation to monitor actions of regulatory bodies for possible program changes.


·Trains/advises faculty in writing curriculum guides and instructional materials and in the use of new or revised curricula.




Job Requirements





  • Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to work across instructional areas.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in education or allied health discipline and experience in teaching, health care curriculum development, multimedia/computer-based instruction, and distance/distributed learning desired.
  • Experience in allied health curriculum development required.
  • Proven record of excellence in postsecondary or adult level education or training environment.  Three years adult curriculum development experience using performance-based methodology. 
  • Travel, as needed.
