Our client is looking for a Custodian / Maintenance Tech in Cherry Hill, NJ! A custodian requires general knowledge of custodial care and routine facilities maintenance. This is a temporary, full time position that may lead to permanent. Schedule is Monday thru Friday, 3:00 pm until 11:30 pm.
Job Description:
- Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, washing and polishing floors throughout building including cafeteria, gym, stairways, halls and foyers.
- Window washing, counter and wall washing.
- Vacuum carpet /rugs.
- Dust & polish furniture and woodwork
- Clean chalk boards, erasers and empty pencil sharpeners.
- Clean, scrub and disinfects restrooms.
- Maintain supplies in restrooms and classrooms such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.
- Empty and clean waste receptacles; pick up paper and trash and empty into large bins
- Move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Set up meeting rooms & classrooms and other facilities as needed.
- Set up equipment for athletic events.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen and eating areas, drinking fountains and other facilities as required.
- Emergency clean up in the cafeteria.
- Reports all items in need of repairs or replacement.
- Secure all windows, doors, etc to ensure overall security of facility at the end of sift and ensure all unnecessary lighting is turned off.
- Performs special duties as required.
- Complete criminal background check and fingerprinting is required.
