NIC Global is a precision sheet metal fabricator and global supply chain management company operating in three principal areas of mechanical and electromechanical assembly, complex sheet metal fabrication, and global sourcing and supply chain management. It has production facilities in Woodinville, WA and Gallatin, TN and a global sourcing office in Shenzhen, China.
- Respond to customer communications regarding products or services
- Manage quote requests from customers including communicating the quote information back to the customer
- Review build information provided by our customers and make recommendations as to how to plan and schedule the work
- Manage new product implementation, revision changes and end of life programs
- Work with the scheduling team when customers request shipment dates outside of normal lead times or when shipment dates won’t be met
- Assist Strategic Account Managers with their day to day activities
- Prepare customer reports from database queries as necessary
- Determine best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies
- Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments and business units
- Review exception reports for electronically submitted data and correct as necessary
- Detect and escalate to management unresolved customer issues or frustrations
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in customer service or other applicable experience
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Understanding of financial data such as sales, cost of sales, variances and margins.
- Experience managing and reconciling Sales orders, pack slips/shipping transactions, invoices, and RMA’s.
- Ability to read drawings or blue prints
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to multi-task
- Adapt to an dynamic environment
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Intermediate computer skills (word, excel, outlook)
- Detailed knowledge of Syteline or other ERP/MRP systems
- Some college required, College degree preferred
