The During Travel Specialist is responsible for providing individualized and superior during- and post-travel customer assistance in our fast-paced, high volume, 24-hour service center. This position supports all of TMTC's SBU's. This position is 3rd shift, with hours from 11pm - 7:30am, with rotating weekends and some holidays.

 

Essential Functions:


  • Respond to and answer incoming customer calls.
  • Follow up with travel agents and suppliers to solve problems in real time.
  • Respond to policy exception refund requests via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Follow up with internal contacts to report and correct problems.

  • Requirements:



  • 1 to 2 years of customer service, call center, or related customer contact experience.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently; however, is also able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Strong proactive and creative problem solving, administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Basic typing and PC skills.
