Customer Logistics Analyst

Brief Job Description:

- Manage orders within an assigned area, taking appropriate action to achieve service goals, understanding, communicating and meeting customer requirements. 

- To record and process accounts receivable information concerning payments, deductions and Trade Promotion (MDF) expenditure tracking.  

- To investigate, address and report developing problems and trends relating to OTC.

Primary contact and advocate for the customer.  Respond to order fulfillment inquires/requests and accounts receivable related issues by communicating extensively with the Customer, Broker, Customer Business Managers, and internal cross-functional departments as required. 

- Service customers through the administration of the Continuous Replenishment Program (CRP) / Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) as required.  Meet agreed upon service level, inventory weeks-of-supply, turn and other sales goals. 

- Perform regular analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and to take steps required to attain service goals and objectives.  Compile monthly reports and communicate results to the appropriate personnel.

- Maintain up-to-date files within the SAP System, such as master files, price files, sales deals, customer resource table, and material determination table, etc.

- Perform miscellaneous duties including Military resale activity adjustments, International Shipments, Miscellaneous product request and participate in cross-functional team projects as required.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 4 years experience in Order Entry, Customer Service, Sales or Operations. 

- Customer Service experience

- Strong Analytical Skills

- Good listening skills, a sense of urgency, a high tolerance for stress and good organizational skills 

- Must demonstrate professionalism and self-confidence to perform effectively

- General Accounting concepts

- Proficiency in Word and Excel

- Must have thorough understanding of forecasting, distribution, inventory control, promotional effect on demand and logistical procedures. (This skill is required if handling the CRP/VMI function only.)       

- Physical Demands – Sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting boxes NTE 50 lbs.
