Customer Processing Cash Administrator
I) Position Summary
Perform a variety of duties relative to the timely and accurate application of payments received from Customers. Each Cash Administrator must be proficient in the use of the integrated online Cash application system including entry, matching, and inquiry screens. In addition, they must become proficient in additional functions provided by system upgrades.
II) Major Areas of Accountability
Independently perform all necessary actions on a daily basis to complete and process all types of customer payments in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with TCFIF policies and procedures. Including but not limited to identifying the proper dealer that the payment is to be applied to.
Monitor the cash application payment workload to ensure that service level agreements are met.
Effectively pose any and all payment issues to the appropriate parties for resolution. Aggressively follow up on any outstanding payment application issues to ensure that they are resolved in a timely and accurate manner.
Respond to and coordinate all inquires or special requests regarding the status or application of payments.
III) Minimum Qualifications
Education
Required:
A High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Some college preferred
Work Experience
Required:
Experience in a clerical or accounting environment
Related copy/mail/clerical experience
The ideal candidate will have basic Microsoft Office skills
Preferred:
Understanding of accounts receivable and payable
Exceptional customer service skills a must
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to effectively complete multiple tasks at once with accuracy
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Ability to use keyboard and telephone
