Customer Profitability Management (CPM) Project Leader

PURPOSE OF THIS JOB

CPM is a major RBNA initiative which will last for almost two years during which we will remap the working processes (planning, selling, negotiating, paying,…), systems across all sales, distribution and finance functions. The CPM Project Leader is responsible for successfully implementing the customer profitability management agenda within Red Bull North America. This includes:

1. Driving the necessary business process re-engineering steps through the on and off premise sales and finance organization within Red Bull, and preparing clear business process blueprints that can be used by IT to develop and implement solutions to support the newly defined sales processes.

2. Owning the testing and training process of these solutions and their rollout within the organization and related 3rd parties.

3. Defining and rolling out the service level agreements stating the obligations of third parties (distributors, other data providers) needed to achieve the goals of the initiative.

4. Liaising with Global Headquarter teams to assure compliance to global standards whilst guaranteeing the maximum possible return on investment for the US organization.

5. Supporting the CEO and VP HR in defining the structures and job descriptions required to support the processes within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES, TASKS AND ACTIVITIES

1. Breaking down the key long term deliverables into clearly defined work packages with short and long term wins

2. Explaining the purpose of each initiative within the framework of the CPM “big Picture” as defined in the To-Be documentation, in order to obtain the support and buy-in of parties involved.

3. Clearly assigning the work packages to the responsible people within a multidisciplinary team constituted of sales, finance and IT personnel, both within RBNA and Headquarters, supported by consultant.

4. Tracking jointly with the project management support the status of each initiative and providing regular updates regarding cost and timeline taking interdependencies into consideration.

5. Defining and rolling out the service level agreements defining the obligations of third parties (distributors, other data providers) needed to achieve the goals of the initiative.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. The candidate must have at least 10 years experience in the sales function in companies operating in an integrated three tier supply chain within the FMCG industry. Beverage background is preferred.

2. The candidate has used modern, integrated customer relationship management and reporting tools within his line of business on the past.

3. The ideal candidate has been involved in sales business process reengineering projects and has gained experience in the project management of a multi functional project team.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

1. Strong sales or general management background.

2. Ability to translate business needs into lean processes (then reflected in organization and systems solutions).

3. Articulate and energetic, has well developed presentation skills and is able to convince through argumentation.

4. Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

5. Ability to work under pressure to short due dates.

6. Willingness and ability to evolve into an interpreter between sales, finance and IT lingo and objectives.

7. Strategic thinker, hands on doer.

8. University degree is a must. MBA is a plus.
