Plasma-Therm is currently in need of an experienced:  Customer Program Manager (CPM)


 


SUMMARY: Customer interface from purchase order through final acceptance and beyond. Provide timely and effective project management of assigned projects. Assist the customer in problem resolution, complainants and issues using appropriate internal and external resources.  Manage Customer Improvement Programs (CIP) as assigned.


 


Duties:  Some of the duties are (but not limited to):


·         Develops project plan and oversees the projects from conception and planning to implementation, including strategies, processes and resources.


·         Responsible for managing project schedule and task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist and project scheduling software.


·         Provides technical leadership to team members to achieve project goals.


·         Interfaces and coordinates with customers to define project objectives, provide status updates and prepare for release and deployment.


·         Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution.


·         Generate a system configuration that effects the customer’s performance requirements for product costing and determination of the product realization path.


 


QUALIFICATIONS:


·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or related field.  MBA preferred.


·         At least five years of work experience in the job offered or related field of semiconductor or capital equipment manufacturing (e.g., Plasma Etch, PECVD, or a related area.).


 


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


·         Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally and externally with customers and vendors.


·         Teamwork spirit and quick learning capabilities.


·         Advanced Plasma-Therm Product and /or Semiconductor Equipment knowledge.


·         Requires strong skills in change management, problem solving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, global business perspective, personal effectiveness, project management, team skills and quality.


·         Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, ERP System, and CRM.


·         Ability to understand Process application.


·         Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, technical journals and papers, and other related material.


·         Ability to develop and track project schedules.


·         Be able to demonstrate superior Customer skills.


·         Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
