Customer Service Associate - Traditional Service Team (1639)

Description

Currently, Protective Life is looking for a Customer Service Associate – Traditional Service Team in its Birmingham, AL corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and answer requests from external and internal customers (e.g. policyholders, agents, coworkers).
  • Answer ACD calls to assist customers with questions and requests for all lines of business.
  • Process all types of disbursement requests for Traditional and Universal Life policies including, but not limited to full & partial surrenders, cash loans, side fund withdrawals, 1035 exchanges, cost basis, calculations, etc


Required Experience

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in a customer service related position including the ability to handle customers with varying temperaments is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Lifecomm and/or NextGen is a plus
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Proficiency with word processing spreadsheets
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
