Customer Service/Consumer Care Specialist

We are looking to fill several Consumer Care Specialist roles.  These positions are responsible for generating sales of Coloplast products through consumer sampling and telephone follow-up.  In addition, these positions provide superior level medical customer service, troubleshooting, and coaching to end-users that promote and enable the group to follow the referral path and meet metrics of the Coloplast strategy.


 


Major Areas of Accountability:


          Sample and promote Coloplast products directly to consumers and dealers via telephone


          Provide knowledgeable product support and advice regarding product application and problem resolution


          Work with clinical contacts to promote consumer-sampling programs


          Promote and sample designated products and services


          Communicate and works as a team with the field sales representatives and consumer sales team to meet and exceed overall sales objectives


          Operate computer-based contact/data based management program and accurately completes account/prospect records or profiles


          Participate in outbound calling campaigns to maximize new customer capture


          Establish and maintain strong relationships with distribution chain, i.e. DMEs, hospitals, Home Health agencies, and contract nurses


·         Completesmonthly call activity goals and conversion quotas


·         Reporting as needed or requested


·         Order entry


·         Other duties as assigned


 


Essential Qualifications:


          Ability to speak fluent Spanish (mandatory for at least one open position)


          Associates or Bachelor’s degree and / or a combination of at least 2 –4 years healthcare customer service and/or sales experience


          Ability to explain medical process and procedures while giving clear, concise, step by step direction


          Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and distribution chain


          Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to type at least 50 wpm


          Critical thinking and problem solving skills


·         Must be patient, empathetic and possess the ability to utilize the telephone effectively as a customer relations tool


·         Strong relationship building skills


·         Medical and or Clinical experience a plus


·         Telesales experience a plus


·         Self-motivated


·         Ability to travel approximately 10% (National Sales Meetings, Regional  Manager Meetings, Tradeshows, etc.)
