Customer Service Inside Sales Representative
About the Job
National distribution center of building materials is seeking a highly qualified customer service representative. Under moderate supervision, performs telephone customer service and sales functions. Takes incoming orders, performs credit checks, manages data on computer system including but not limited to: coordinates product availability, delivery and troubleshoots issues. Services current customers and solicits new business via telephone. Ideal applicant will have previous experience in customer service within hardlines. May have retail experience. Must be able to handle fast pace and high volume. Attention to detail, demonstrated history of providing quality customer service. Must be proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office), order data entry/ inventory management system (i.e.SAP or JDE) experience preferred. Strong mathematical skills.
