Summary of Duties


This is a customer service position in the field of operations and customer relations in a device manufacturing organization.  Candidate will be trained to assist operations management by compiling and recording production and customer data to prepare records and reports on customer sales and satisfaction; service records and other aspects of production as it relates to customer programs. 



Candidate will be trained to assume the following Duties and Responsibilities


—Assist in recording information related to service calls, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or user training over the phone; schedule field service and transmit information to appropriate field personnel; follows up as appropriate.


—Perform return material authorization (RMA’s) and customer profiles; manage routine inquires; processes document, invoicing, forms, and transactions according to company policy.  Prepare customer files, invoices, work orders, and other related files or reports as necessary or appropriate.


—May respond to questions regarding Gatekeeper Systems, its product, and order information and may provides caller with address, directions, and other relevant non-confidential business information.


—Set up new customers and enter information on Service Tickets into the Navision ERP system for the purpose of tracking customer service records.  Initiate contact to new customers to review service outcome for installation of new system(s) or service from Field personnel.  Troubleshoot customer issues and/or direct customers to appropriate personnel to resolve issues.


—Enter new customer orders; coordinates and schedules installation of equipment; performs follow-up customer service contact and perform other related duties as assigned.



Qualifications and Experience


—Excellent organizational and customer service skills


—Computer literacy required: Microsoft Business Suite including Excel and Database software


—Data Entry/ability to type 40+ words per minute


—Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively


—Demonstrated ability for problem resolution


—1-2 years experience working in a customer service position in a manufacturing, production or similar environment performing similar duties.
