Customer Service Manager

About the Job

A dynamic aerospace manufacturing company in Orange County is searching for a full time Customer Service Manager


 


Position Summary:


Manages the customer service team and ensures that customers are retained, satisfied, and that their needs are fulfilled.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:


·         Supervise Customer Service/Order Entry team


·         Answer incoming and escalated customer calls.


·         Identify customer issues that impact customer satisfaction and assist in problem resolution.


·         Ensure accuracy of final customer deliverables resulting in reduction of rework and increase in customer satisfaction.


·         Maintain strong and productive relationships with support areas.


·         Recommend policies and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.


·         Effectively manage escalations with limited support.


·         Maintain proper dialogue and liaison with customers to resolve


·         Act as primary point of contact to all customers on issues such as acceptance of contracts, out-of-scope efforts, and disposition of non-conforming parts.


·         Review incoming contracts against company quotes and handle discrepancies.


·         Distribute approved customer contracts


·         Perform administrative tasks related to contract management and order entry.


 


Required Skills, Education and Experience:


 


·         High School Diploma. College degree preferred.


·         Minimum 5 years experience in Customer Service and two years experience in a Customer Service management roll in the manufacturing industry.


·         Prefer experience with Defense Contract Audit Agency and other government contract requirements.


·         Must have in depth knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)


·         Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.


·         Familiarity with Contact Management and ERP software systems, Great Plains preferred.


·         Experience supporting and deploying Lean office initiatives such as 5S, continuous improvement and or Kanban.
