Customer Service Representative - Accessibility

About the Job

Since 1997, American Access has grown from a Mid-South dealer to a nationally recognized Modular  Wheelchair Ramp Manufacturer with sales and installations of thousands of accessibility systems nationwide. 

American Access provides safe and professional accessibility solutions.  Our products include modular wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, porch lifts, ceiling lifts, grab bars and many other home accessibility products.

   

American Access is currently looking for Team Members to be an integral part of the 

Customer Service Representative Team. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to quickly gather required background information and paperwork on clients, customers and installers. 

Staff and maintain project timelines for each project, track and manage project progress; Organize and prioritize daily task; Sense of urgency in following up on ongoing projects to see them through to completion

Handle complex, time sensitive, staffing, evaluations or quoting demands;  Managing multiple contractors/installers;

Communicate daily with vendors, other departments, installers, management, on the progress of projects

Manage margins on each project, create quotes or invoices and submit to requesting agencies, companies or customers;

Learn and proficiently utilize corporate information and computer systems;

Work in an office environment


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High School Diploma Required;

Experience working with contractors/installers in the Accessibility Industry preferred;

Service orientation background working with customers, installers and vendors;

Candidates should have previous experience that demonstrates time management and effective organizational skills.

Utilization of project scheduling software or similar software is a plus.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written;

Proficient in MSOffice environment;  QuickBook experience.

Candidate must be able to pass drug and background checks;
