Customer Service Representative

Position Description:

We are actively searching for a Customer Service Representative to join our Individual Client Services team!

  • Review customer requests, and provide accurate and timely transaction processing
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and written/electronic communication
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, business rules and regulations
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, including improvement of procedures

Qualifications:

To be considered further for opportunity, candidates will possess the following skills, experience & education:

  • Strong customer service orientation, including demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills to include the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities concurrently
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to learn and manage multiple PC and mainframe applications
  • Ability to research answers, learn quickly, and retain information
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
  • Ability to follow up with others promptly and professionally on outstanding issues
  • Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment
  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Prior exposure to telephone customer service including answering inbound calls preferred
  • Life/Disability agent license and/or Series 6 and 63 licensing a plus!
