Eurofins MWG Operon is a global supplier of synthetic DNA and DNA sequencing services.  We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Huntsville, AL location.


 


 


Description:


The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for all daily Customer Service tasks including order processing, customer inquiries via phone and email, coordination with production, and all other tasks relating to care of Eurofins MWG Operon customers. Full-time and part-time positions are available. (He/she) will be the initial point of contact for customers and provide support for customer inquiries via email and phone. (He/she) will also be responsible for manual order entry from excel and text documents. Manual order entry requires a high level of detail orientation. (He/she) will report to the Customer Service Manager.


 


The ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with customers and be solution-oriented. He/she will also possess ability to learn technical information quickly and translate this knowledge into accurate and efficient manual order entry. Professional telephone and email abilities are required.


 


Customer questions could include:


·         Logistical issues related to order status


·         Issues related to placing and tracking orders through the web site


·         Customer Account setup and maintenance


·         General issues related to product availability and use


 


Requirements:


·         Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science field would be a plus; Sufficient experience or demonstrated ability to learn technical products considered in lieu of Life Science experience.


·         2+ years of Customer Service experience


·         Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese a plus


·         Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Excel


·         Communication skills both verbal and written


·         Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment


·         Team-player with a positive attitude


·         Demonstration of sound judgment


·         Ability to work under pressure, with deadlines, and prioritize
