CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

If so, then Nilfisk-Advance, Inc., the world’s premiere manufacturer of professional cleaning equipment, has an excellent opportunity available for an individual to join our Customer Service Department, at our Plymouth, MN facility.


 


This position requires a professional, organized, high-energy, detail-orientated individual who has strong phone communication and interpersonal skills. 


 


Responsibilities include:


·    Processes 80-90 ACD Calls a day


·    Provides customers with information, such as pricing, product information, parts availability, parts number changes, machine promotion, etc. to solve their problems or assist them in making sound decisions and achieve customer satisfaction


·    Coordinates with buyers to ensure parts availability


·    Alerts manufacturing and purchasing on shortages and large incoming orders


·    Assists customer with understanding of the company’s policies and procedures


·    Assists customers with special needs/projects to ensure on time delivery


·    Promotes “Customer Zone” to customers to help them be more self-sufficient


·    Refers end users to appropriate service center or dealer in their area


·    Credits / Rebills


·    Provides support for field sales force


·    Processes orders from customers via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and transmits invoices to customers via EDI


 


Requirements include:


·    College degree or working toward one


·    Minimum of two years customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or a call center environment.


·    Excellent verbal and written communication skills


·    Good telephone manner to enhance relationships with customers


·    Ability to be persuasive with customers, keeping customer satisfaction as a guiding factor


·    Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks


·    Ability to analyze problems and solve work related issues


·    High level of attention to detail    


·    Requires skills in MS Word and Excel and ability to learn other programs easily


·    Experience with ERP systems, such as BAAN


·    Must be a US Citizen or hold Permanent Residency


 


We offer an excellent benefit package, friendly work environment, along with work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
