Mariani Packing Company located in Vacaville,
CA is the largest independent dried fruit processor and packer in the United
States handling 100MM pounds of fruit annually. We have an immediate opening
for a Customer Service Representative.
Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager is responsible for
order processing on assigned accounts from data entry to invoicing.
- 2-5 years Customer Service
- Export/International order experience desired
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES listed, but are not
limited to the following:
- Ensure
compliance of the RAC Export Program - Maintain
Active Dialogue & Communications with NVOCC / Freight Forwarders - Attend and
participate in meetings - Ensure back-up
is trained on desk/accounts - Responsible
for order processing/requirements on assigned accounts (from data entry to
invoicing) - Follow Customer Service SOP’s.
- Problem
Solving: Develop lasting solutions &
changes that improve overall efficiency & accuracy that can impact internal and external customers - Follows organization's policies and values
- Update
customer order/item comments in computer system as needed - Good
understanding of Consumer Affairs responsibilities; know where to find
information, how to respond to a consumer, etc. - Aid in developing and following process improvement strategies that
maximize efficiency of Communications / SOP’s that ultimately enhance
performance of self and Supply Chain Team. - Ensure Proactive
& Accurate & Timely communication within department and with internal /
external customers to maximize quality, productivity and minimize down time. - Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Keep manager aware of significant issues or developments and, if any, actions being taken to improve the situation
- Able to
effectively communicate with Dept Personnel, Peers & Management both
written and verbally - Other Duties
as Assigned
