Two Way Radio Field Service Technician
About the Job
Creative Communications, a large Motorola two-way radio dealer seeks an experienced, energetic and skilled individual to work as a Field Service Technician in Arizona. A Field Service Technician is a self starter that performs a variety of tasks to facilitate modification, repair, maintenance, and installation of communications systems, equipment, parts and accessories Specific Job Duties: Candidates must have capabilities with installation/repair and maintenance of antenna systems, base systems, battery back-up systems, microwave systems, multiplexers, remote controls and repeaters.
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of Consoles : Centracom GoldElite, MCC 5500/7500, Telex-Vega and ZeTron.
- Ability to program, troubleshoot and perform system diagnostics
- Cabling, connectorization and system optimization skills
- Experience with dispatch consoles, paging infrastructure and trunked radio systems.
- FCC, FICA, or NARTE industry license is a plus
- Two-year degree in electronics field is highly desired
