Job Description

Customer Service Specialist II

Overview:    

Should posses a genuine desire and commitment to assist customers and support the Mission, Vision and Values of Neighborhood.

Qualifications:

Required: 

·         High School degree or equivalent

·         Spanish Speaking

·         Attention to detail a must

Preferred:

·         Exceptional oral and written communication skills

·         Minimum of 2+ years of customer service or call center experience     

·         Proficient in computer skills

·         Strong listening skills

·         Exceptional Organizational skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Ÿ  Research, reviews and responds to all complex inquiries that are received through incoming calls, e-mail or written correspondence

Ÿ  Contacts and educates new members about Neighborhood services

Ÿ  Has a broad knowledge of all lines of Neighborhood business

Ÿ  Provides accurate documentation regarding the inquiry in the all Customer Service Call Tracking Applications

Ÿ  Knowledge of Neighborhood Organizational Structure, Customer Service Workflow and Operating Procedures

Ÿ  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ÿ  Ability to train Customer Service Specialist III

Ÿ  Specializes in coordinating administrative task specific to member request

Ÿ  Ability to answer switchboard calls to relieve receptionist when needed

Ÿ  Knowledge of Customer Service – Service Levels and NCQA/HIPAA Standards

Ÿ  Provides telephone and/or administrative support for the Customer Service Department

Ÿ  Represents Neighborhood to internal and external customers in a professional manner

Ÿ  If assigned responsibility for marketing outreach:

-         Makes and receives phone calls with the intent of promoting or selling company products or services using a prepared marketing script

-         Responsible for follow-up calls to potential members using a prepared marketing script

-         Convince potential members to join Neighborhood

·         Performs other assigned task as needed
