ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - JOB REQUIREMENTS:
We are seeking an entry level candidate that is willing to work flex hours (nights and weekends as needed or on a rotation basis), who is interested in learning about the Customs entry process in the position of a Customs and International Trade Specialist.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Collecting documents and information from importers, processing and entering data
· Submitting government clearance forms and relevant documents in a timely manner
· Communicating effectively with importers and related parties
· Tracking border crossings
· Maintenance of our electronic database record keeping system
· Other responsibilities include administrative duties
The ideal candidate will:
· Be detail oriented
· Able to work independently on projects
· Have strong communication skills and work ethic
· Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related fields and knowledge of 19 CFR and the HTSUS is a plus.
