Tech Providers, Inc (TPI) is searching for a Cyber Security Analyst for a long term contract position with a major energy / utilities company in Birmingham, AL.

Job Description:

• Provide support for the implementation of the Cyber Security Projects working with network and security engineers to implement pre-designed system architectures consisting of Cisco firewalls and associated networking equipment.
• Additional projects may include inventory of plant computer equipment, installation/configuration of firewalls and switches.
• Extensive travel required

Required Skills / Experience:

• Experience with network infrastructure (3+ years)
• General knowledge and understanding of information security concepts and best practices
• Experience with modern operating systems
• BS degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Cisco Switches
• Must pass background check and drug screening

“Nice to Have” Skills / Experience:

• Cisco Secure ACS (Access Control Server)
• Virtual Servers
• Experience with information security regulation as it applies to the energy and utility industry
• Industry certification (CCSP, CCIE, CCNP, CISSP)
