Position Description:

The Data Center Engineer will apply his/her expertise to solve challenging engineering and architectural problems across a vast domain of datacenter technologies. This includes physical infrastructure, networks, operating systems, databases, email, and/or web services.  Projects will focus on engineering stable, highly available solutions to support Reynolds customer facing hosted applications and services, as well as Reynolds internal mission critical IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience in IT engineering role
• Experience in any 3 or more of the following:
  • Administration of Windows Server, Exchange Server and Linux Server environments
  • Linux and Windows scripting, including Perl and PHP 
  • Administration including performance tuning of MySql, PostgreSQL, SqlServer, or Oracle databases
  • Open Source software configuration including Zope, Cacti, Zenoss, Bind, Apache, and Amanda
  • Datacenter technologies including RAID, Backup, SAN, Power, and cable management
  • Network technologies and protocols including TCP, IP, BGP, EIGRP, IGRP, MPLS, QoS, HSRP, and MLPPP
