Analyze business requirements to determine logical data model… Pyramid Consulting Group has a Pittsburgh client with an immediate need for an experienced DATA WAREHOUSE ARCHITECT. This is a contract- to- hire position for an experienced LEAD.

The client is looking for the following background and skills:

* Experience working with denormalized and normalized data models;          
* Experience analyzing and implementing data warehouse needs on an enterprise level;
* Experience reviewing business requirements;

* Experience exercising performance tuning to meet requirements;

* Experience with ETL strategies and concepts specifically with Informatica;
* Thorough knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle DBMS;
* At least five years direct experience in Data Warehousing concepts, principles and architectural design;

* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and the aptitude to communicate on a technical level business level and

* Strong planning and execution skills.
