DBA - Database Administration

Performs Unix System administration tasks.

·         Performs administration of Unix systems including maintaining users, file systems and disk configurations, network communications, printer configurations.

·         Writes and maintains Unix scripts for Unix system applications.

·         Administer SUN servers and Linux Operating systems.

Administer Web Applications

·         Manage systems running Dominos.com public website, store locator, and Web Load balancers. 

·         Administer Dominos-Online systems, and Lotus notes environment.

Database Administrator

·         Monitors and supports DB2 databases.

·         Reviews and monitors performance of databases. Recommends performance tuning modifications.

·         Creates and maintains dbspaces, raw chunks, containers, etc.

PeopleSoft Administrator

·         Provides configuration changes for application servers and process schedulers.

·         Writes and maintains Unix scripts for PeopleSoft systems applications.

·         Provide PeopleSoft user security administration.

·         Manages migration of PeopleSoft objects and programs from one environment to another.

QUALIFICATIONS

Masters or Bachelor's Degree in computer science or other business related field or equivalent experience.

5 or more years experience with Unix systems administration.

5 or more years experience with database administration.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
