The Implementation Project Manager manages the overall project to convert an existing 401k/Defined Contribution (DC) plan from another record keeper and/or implementation of new DC plan to Putnam. Coordinates and handles responses to day-to-day client service requests during the installation and conversion process. Manages assigned projects within proscribed time-tables and budgets, and resolves installation and conversion problems. Works closely with managers and staff throughout Putnam and the DC business including: sales, relationship management, plan administration, operations, IT, and compliance staff, as well as with clients and client's vendors. May attend finals presentations. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree; 5-8 years related experience; thorough understanding of the DC business and the DC organization's products and services (specifically, plan administration and/or conversions); excellent project and client management skills.
