PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute business to business proactive outreach, primarily by cold calling, telephone, & e-mail to contacts in targeted accounts within the Tampa Bay Market. Provide a clear, compelling & articulate explanation of our business value to prospective customers. Generate qualified leads & follow up until prospect becomes a customer. Schedule face-to-face appointments for our Landcare & Landscape Managers. Maintain & add information to our companies database of prospects & customers. Must be able to work the business hours appropriate for assigned territory. Expected work week 50-55 hours. Attend association events during the week & some evenings (1-2 per week) - ABC, NAIOP, TBBA, CAI, BOMA, ULI
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of Business Development of Sales cold-calling experience. Independent, self-motivated & success driven, yet able & willing to take direction. Outstanding verbal & written communication skills. Efficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proven history of developing qualified leads & meeting quota. Comfortable conversing with executive business decision makers. Strong organizational skills, follow up skills, & attention to detail.
