MRI Network is a global recruiting company.  We are representing a leading Biotechnology company with locations around the world.  Current needs are for a DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES & ENGINEERING for the Michigan location.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Management or related field 
  • PE (Professional Engineer) PMP (Project Management Professional) CFM (Certified Facility Manager)
  • 12+ years Facilities & Engineering experience
  • 10+ years experience in a Biological products manufacturing environment  
  • Experience overseeing all activities related to Facilities & Engineering for the manufacturing facility including utilities, maintenance, facilities services, construction management, facilities planning and capital project management. 
  • Background leading & increasing training and abilities of the the Facilities Management and Engineering Management groups 
  • Able to Maintain capital and operational budgets in excess of $20 Million  
  • Able increase effectiveness and improve performance in:
    • Calibration
    • Preventative & Corrective Maintenance Programs
    • Facilities Resource Planning
    • Managing Central Utility Plant
    • Capital Planning / Master Planning
    • Capital Project Management
    • CAD 
  • Strength in communication & presentation skills to internal and external individuals 
  • Background in vaccine manufacturing preferred
