Accountabilities:

Lead, manage, coach and develop a full life-cycle Software Development team to success

Oversee the engineering of Follett Software product used by external market as well as develop tools to be used internally

Establish metrics that will define team success and are aligned with business objectives

Define vision / next steps for growth in the area of new product development

What you bring to our winning team:

7-10 years of technical experience in software development with 1-3 years of project leadership and experience managing a software development team

History of implementing best practices for software product development and follows a 'process first, technology second' mindset

A constant, forward thinking focus on what is possible

Documented success in process improvements within a software development team

Success managing teams within small to mid-size matrix environments

Strong focus on performance, scale-ability, customer perspective and quality

Full understanding of business strategy: how Sales and Product Management align with development

History in Sr. Management positions such as Director-level roles

Understanding of Agile development and extreme programming

You are our ideal candidate because you ask the right questions and have held Leadership roles in Software Development environments in which a product is hosted for an external customer. You are collaborative and results-driven. You take full ownership of the process and take development to the next level.
