Director, Supplier Accounting

At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Director, Supplier Accounting in our Englewood, CO location.
Job Summary:
Participates with other senior financial leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives related to Supplier Accounting for the North American businesses. This position reports into the Vice President, Finance and will lead the Accounts Payable and Supplier Accounting teams responsible for the tracking and collection of significant gross profit dollars related to various supplier pricing programs.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic guidance to Supplier Accounting and Accounts Payable teams in support of each businesses strategy.
Oversee cash flow management, supplier relationships, supplier financial analysis and payables
Meet forecast and planning deadlines
Manage reports and analyze results to make recommendations to business leaders.
Provide guidance and support to all levels of management in ECS and NAC businesses.
Review and approve account reconciliations.
Ensure the balance sheet accurately reflects supplier receivables and payables balances.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 legislation as well as corporate and regional policies and procedures.
Review supplier contracts; negotiate terms and settle disputes.
Work with marketing, treasury and suppliers to maximize A/P DPO.
Design, pilot, implement new operational and financial models for key supplier initiatives.
Provide mentoring and leadership to attract, develop and retain talent
Instill a mindset of continuous process improvement consistent with accounting principles, corporate policies and government regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum 10 years of Accounting Management experience.
Strong internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC reporting
Proven leadership capabilities including the ability to hire and develop strong talent for financial roles.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills – must be have advanced Excel skills
Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
A team player that is a highly motivated self-starter – ability to maintain a cooperative and professional work relationship with internal and external partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Oracle Financial systems strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree
CPA; Big 4 experience
