A very successful manufacturing operation is searching
for a Director of  Information Systems. This position
will work closely with Division and Corporate IT Management
to coordinate, plan and implement new technology solutions. 
Position directs & controls the functions in planning, design,
development, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions
for all of the company's manufacturing facilities. 

EDUCATION:
.....Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business Management or
Equivalent Experience may be considered

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
.....Manufacturing background
.....Five to Seven years experience on Oracle eBusiness 11i
.....Five to Seven years progressive experience in a technical setting
.....Strong Leadership Skills and Supervisory Experience
.....Project Management Skills
.....Must be capable of managing multiple locations
.....Must possess a high level of customer/end-user service in an
Information Technology role

JOB FUNCTIONS:
.....Position will develope a 3/5 strategic plan and support annual plans
.....Will include the IT department's short & long range goals and
ensure the plans are aligned with the Division's Strategic plan and
operating objectives
.....Evaluate alternative technology solutions for the division and provide
leadership in the design/development/implementation for these solutions
.....Monitor the performance of implemented systems & maintain as required
.....Provide support & consulting services to the business community &
applicable business partners in the application of Information Technology
.....Integrate the activity & plans of the IT Department with that of other
functional components or departments in the Division.
.....Structure & staff the IT Dept. through appropriate personnel selection,
training and assignment. Provide a framework for personal development
& growth through the proper delegation of responsiblity and authority
.....Position is responsible for compliance to all IT related Sarbanes-Oxley
requirements including the maintenance & testing of all general computer
coontrols (GCC)
