The Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-Army) Program in Richmond, VA has an immediate, long-term, opening for a Comptroller Master Trainer. This is a mid-level position with two primary functions: aiding in the creation and sustainment of GCSS-Army Comptroller training materials by functioning as an Army Comptroller Subject Matter Expert (SME), and managing, mentoring, and evaluating GCSS-Army Comptroller instructors. The selected candidate: Must be prepared to learn program-specific training development software packages. Will work with existing SAP training developers to bridge language and concepts from the legacy Army financial system(s) to the SAP-based GCSS-Army system. Will perform Army SME reviews of all GCSS-Army Comptroller training materials to ensure training is appropriate for an Army audience of various skill levels. Will provide train-the-trainer instruction of the newly developed GCSS-Army Comptroller training materials to platform instructors. Will perform annual evaluations of GCSS-Army Comptroller Instructors. Will update Comptroller training materials in accordance with changes to the GCSS-Army software baseline. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required. Requirements: · Bachelor's degree with 2 years directly related experience. Years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. · Previous experience operating and / or training Legacy Army Financial systems STANFINS, RMT, DBCAS FCM, military or civilian experience preferred. · Army financial experience desired performing Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES). · Experience as a program analyst, budget analyst and / or Division level RM desirable. · Must understand the tactical Army basic structure and the financial structure required supporting the maintenance, logistics and operations the Army performs. · Duties include developing and maintaining ASAT-compliant training materials Previous experience developing and delivering Instructor-Led Platform Instruction. · Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to brief / train a variety of audience types. · High level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. · Must be willing to relocate to the Richmond area. · Must be available to travel approximately 40% to 50% for the first 18 months to perform site preparation and platform training for pre-go-live audiences.
